House of Protea Florals is owned by Alli Stilwell who grew up in Zimbabwe Africa and who spends part of her time in Protea abundant Western Cape of South Africa.  She grew up in the wilderness of Botswana, Zimbabwe and Zambia where here parents ran a safari organization.  Her love for nature and floral beauty is the instrument behind this company where the goal is to spread the joy of nature to all.

My journey into the floral industry was deeply inspired by Erin Benzakein of Floret Flower Farm. Her warmth, generosity, and the genuine goodness she puts into the world have been a guiding light from the very beginning — both in how I grow flowers and in how I approach this craft with intention and care.

I am proud to be a graduate of Floret's Inaugural Flower Arranging Workshop, where I had the privilege of learning floral design techniques and trade secrets directly from Floret's incredibly talented team. That experience shaped not only my skills, but my entire philosophy as a floral designer.
